"Applesauce Awesome"
"yeah way"
"went wee wee wee wee"
"Bye Bye pee pee"
"NICE"
"Go Outside"

So McKenna has got quite the vocabulary lately. Every day brings something new and hilarious to hear. I've put the backyard swingset fort thing pretty much all together, now we just have to finish up the roof to go on it. Jaime and I are having issues on the best method to attach the duck canvas to the PVC covered wagon roof thing I made.

We are going to try camping with Matt and Gretchen next weekend fairly close to home just north of Marysville. We bought McKenna a mini sleeping bag and set up a tent in the backyard , so she could get used to the idea. She really seems to like it. We'll see how it turns out, it should be fun.
Work has been fairly busy. I went to a concrete forming panel conference in Shelton/Tacoma earlier last week which was pretty good. I stayed in a really nice resort (The Alderbrook) in Union, WA. There were about 40 people from all over the US there, someone was even from Panama.

Jaime had a fun time in Las Vegas with KD. While they were away McKenna had a fever of 104 degrees, was throwing up and had really bad diahrea all weekend long. It was really scary being alone with her for the 3 or 4 days, but at the same it was really nice to be able to spend some quality time with her. The whole time she was sick all she wanted to do was cuddle and be near me. We laid on the couch and read or slept on the bed with cartoons on all day long.
McKenna will be switching daycare providers in July. Jaime's friend Casey who has been watching her told us a few months back that they are going to be looking at fostering to adopt amoung other things and would be able to watch McKenna anymore. We were very sad because McKenna loves it with Jade, who is a few months younger, and Casey and because we trust Casey so much. We were lucky enough to find an opening at a home daycare facility very near work that came highly recommended by Jaime's boss who has taken her 3 sons there for the last 9 or so years. We took McKenna over for a meet and greet and she seemed to get along great. Hopefully that will work out ok as well.

The next projects around the house are going to be reinsulating and cleaning up the crawlspace, and also reinsulating and resheetrocking the office room (similar to what we did with the Master Bedroom a few months ago)

Well, best be off to bed.
Until next time.....
