It's amazing how much little stuff you have to do to start a home based daycare! Jaime and I attended the required orientation last week (an 8 hour class). Although we thought we had most everything done in order to get licensed, it turns out we still have quite a bit left to do. It's all good though because it'll make our house safer for McKenna and any other kids we might have in the future no matter what happens with the daycare.

I've almost got my router fence built in my shop. I took a few hours on Sunday while Jaime and McKenna were taking a nap and got quite a bit done on it. I haven't had any time what so ever to do anything in the shop lately. I still have 2 projects in the works left to finish (McKenna'sToybox/bookcase and the Dining Bench/storage).
McKenna is a little a little over 4 months old now! Crazy, huh? Time flies.

We've all been pretty sick lately still. A long lingering cold left over from the flu we had (and caught from McKenna's daycare) in February.
Jaime is enjoying working only a few hours at night (not to say she doesn't work at home during the day, but she actually gets paid at night). She gets a lot done and doesn't have to deal with many interuptions. I'm enjoying my one on one time with McKenna during that period also. We play and dance and rest and I'm able to feed her every night as well.

Well, I hope all is well with you and yours!
Until next time.....
