Hello all,

Sorry it has been so long since we've blogged but it has been CRAZY in these parts! We are busy with the remodel of McKenna's future room. Mark has taken out all the sheet rock and insulation and replaced it with new warm more energy efficient materials and now is busy mudding the new sheet rock so we can paint, and I just refinished a dresser and am working on the bedframe so McKenna will have pretty, coordinating furniture in her room. It's alot more work than anticipated thats for sure.

My mom, after 25+ years in her apartment finally moved out and is trying out new things which has been a bit of an ordeal unto itself. Right now she is staying at my dads house until things resort themselves out, and my dad finally got his license and CDL back (which he did not have because of the January accident he got in) he is getting closer to being able to work, but still has not been fit for his final prosthesis so, we are not sure when that will be.

On the great news front, some dear friends of ours, Jeff and Sarah Thompson has their very first child born September 11th 2007. His name is Dean Kenneth Thompson and was 7lbs 10oz when he was born. He is adorable, and so teensy. McKenna was 1lb 5oz heavier than he was when she was born so to me he almost looks like a precious moments doll to me. He has perfect little hands and the cutest face.....I can barely remember when McKenna was a newborn.....ahhh memories.

I guess the last of the news I have for now is that we are getting ready for the holiday season little by little and hopefully it won't kick us too hard when it gets here. I am about 1/3 of the way completed with my Christmas gift shopping and have addressed (but not filled out) my Christmas cards. Friday, McKenna and I went to the portrait studio to have her 2 year-Christmas pics taken and that was a hoot. Halloween, McKennas 2 year birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas all seem to inundate us at the same time so if you don't hear from us again for a while don't be too alarmed. I would however recommend you watch the Times or PI papers in your area to see if any headlines read "Bothell woman gone mad took over shopping center exclaiming 'Will not leave until January and it's all over'," I can't guaranty it won't happen. If it does, well, I hope I found you something nice.

Until next time,

Jaime
