What's up Buddha

Happy Fifth of July! Independence Day was a lot of fun in chez Beadnell! We had a same group of family and friends over to celebrate and have lunch with us which was exhilarating fun McKenna! This was her first week at a new daycare facility and she seems to be enjoying it thoroughly! T.G! Rosie, the lady that watches her now says McKenna acts like she owns the place (which is not anything new...she thinks she owns everything and everyone). I am pretty sure it was harder for me to take her there then for her to go.

She's saying phrases and repeating a lot of what we say in the house now so we are much more careful about what she hears....her current favorites are "Righteous" "What's up Buddha" "How mommy doing?" "Daddy's awesome""Here go daddy" etc etc. It's getting easier to understand what she says, but harder to keep up with what words are new to her and what she has been saying awhile because everything seems so natural to her. Oh, my little girl is growing up so fast.... I started my Christmas shopping and am off to a smashing start. I have already got ideas of what I want to get people, so I feel pretty secure that this will be a great holiday season (that is to say, it will be 6 months from now) Oh, and the other new news from the home front is that we are is the beginning's of yet another remodel. We are going to redo the insulation, painting and sheet rock in the guest room/office and make it McKenna's room soon enough. To prepare ourselves we bought a wardrobe for our bedroom so all my craft stuff can be put away nicely and we are putting the office desk area in our already overcrowded man room, we should be able to make it work I am going to do a Wizard of Oz themed paint job in McKennas new bedroom and plan on enlisting family help in the next few months....so those of you who live near may not want to answer your telephones when I call :)

I suppose that's it for now. Hope all of you had a super 4Th of July and can stand this terrible heat wave.

With Love,

Jaime
